Summary: I stayed in many hotels in Rome, on the day I fly back to the US, and the Damaso is by far the best. Very clean, renovated, the service staff is absolutely fantastic, friendly and helpful. The location right in the middle of Rome. We got a suite and enjoyed it very much. Will come back here for sure if available.

Summary: The staff was fantastic. The room very nice. The location was great to walk to numerous sites. The e rooftop bar allowed a nice quiet way to wind down after sightseeing during a busy day. The only issue that caused the lower rating was late in the evening our room had a terrible smell coming from??? It was like sewer system backup. I will say that the staff came and checked it out thoroughly then added some treatment to the drain s and the issue seemed to go away.

Summary: Super clean, comfortable hotel in the center of Rome, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Decor was inviting, bathroom had tub, nice fluffly bathrobes, room was a good size. One important thing to note is that it is on a very busy road--our room was on the third floor directly on the road. The windows are just OK at blocking out the traffic noise, and they were no match for the extremely annoying singer with acoustic guitar and amplified sound in the plaza opposite the hotel, who was playing terrible pop hits (Wonderwall, Great Balls of Fire, etc) until around 23:00. I would recommend requesting a room at the back of the hotel if you're sensitive to noise--it really was a bit much that one night.

Summary: Probably the best location in the city. It was so easy to walk to the sights and great food. I highly recommend the penthouse suite with the terrace. That was a game changer.
